SSC CGL Tier-1 Cut-Off 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the category-wise cut-off marks for the Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-I), 2025. Candidates can now check the minimum normalized marks required to qualify for the Tier-II examination.
The commission has released three separate lists for shortlisted candidates based on the posts they applied for. Below is the detailed analysis of the cut-off marks for all categories.
1. Cut-Off for "All Other Posts" (List-3)
Most candidates fall under this list, which covers posts other than JSO and Statistical Investigator.
(Note: The total number of candidates shortlisted in List-3 is 1,30,418).
2. Cut-Off for Junior Statistical Officer (List-1)
Candidates shortlisted for appearing in Tier-II [Paper-I & Paper-II (Statistics)] for the post of JSO.
(Total candidates available in List-1: 6,196).
3. Cut-Off for Statistical Investigator Gr. II (List-2)
Candidates shortlisted for appearing in Tier-II [Paper-I & Paper-II (Statistics)] for the post of Statistical Investigator Grade-II.
(Total candidates available in List-2: 2,781).
Important Updates on Results
- Normalization: Since the exam was conducted in multiple shifts, marks have been normalized as per the commission's formula published on 02.06.2025.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: The minimum qualifying marks in Tier-I were set at 30% for UR, 25% for OBC/EWS, and 20% for all other categories.
- Withheld Results: The results of 49 candidates have been kept withheld due to pending court cases or various other reasons. Additionally, results for 5 candidates have not been processed due to debarment.
What Next?
Qualified candidates should start preparing immediately for the Tier-II Exam, which is tentatively scheduled for the 3rd Week of January, 2026.
